Dornenreich (up to Bitter Ist's Dem Tod Zu Dienen known as DornenReich) is an ambient music band from Austria, founded in 1996. They initially played melodic black metal and changed to neofolk-influenced ambient with Her von welken Nächten. They have released six albums on Prophecy Productions.
