This deals with how the media is lying to us, speciffically about the war(while bullets shower the earth we turn our heads and cover out faces), and how they're trying to distract us with "fallen trees"- enviormental issues that aren't there. "Screaming at the ceiling" refers to the metaphorical box the media has locked us in, and "we feast on lies" is another referance to how they're duping us.
