We stare at broken clocks, the hands don't turn anymore.
The days turn into nights, empty hearts and empty places.
The day you lost him, I slowly lost you too.
For when he died, he took a part of you.
No time for farewells, no chances for goodbyes.
No explanations, no fucking reasons why.
I watched it eat you up, pieces fallen on the floor.
We stare at broken clocks, the hands don't turn anymore.
If only sorrow could build a staircase, our tears could show the way.
I would climb my way to heaven, and bring him back home again.
Don't give up hope my friend, this is not the end.
We stare at broken clocks, the hands don't turn anymore.
The days turn into nights, empty hearts and empty places.
The day you lost him, I slowly lost you too.
For when he died, he took a part of you.
Death is only a chapter, so lets rip out the pages of yesterday.
Death is only a horizon. And I'm ready for my sun, I'm ready for my sun to, I'm ready for my sun, I'm ready for my sun to set.
If only sorrow could build a staircase, our tears could show the way.
We would climb our way to heaven, and bring him home again. [X3]
We would do anything to bring him back to you.
We would do anything to end what your going through.
If only sorrow could build a staircase, our tears could show the way.
I would climb my way to heaven, and bring him back home again.
I would do anything to bring him back to you.
Because if you got him back, I would get back the friend that I once knew. [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/b/bring_me_the_horizon/suicide_season.html ]
I love this song sooo much so my dad died recently in a motorcycle accident. I can see how much it hurts my family so i wish i could bring him back.

Well i heard this in an interview a while ago on the radion. This song is about one of oli's good friends who used to work for the band whose dad committed suicide. After it happened their friend started to go really down hill because they had lost their dad, and after a while they found out that the person had been stealing from the band and they had to let him go. So the song is about how he would do anything to bring his friends dad back so that he could get back the best friend he used to know. I will post a link to the interview soon for it.

Pretty sure everyone interprets songs differently due to how they feel and what effect is has on them. So there is no right meaning.
People, relax. Oli's not becoming a prophet or anything and neither are you all. You don't have the judgement to say who will end up in heaven or hell or if there is even a heaven or hell. But when people lose someone, no matter how religious they are - it's always nice to have a peace of mind that they're safe and happy now.
To all the people that have views on if you go to heaven or hell or if you have "goodenough" reasons.. You guys aren't that smart. Have you ever talked tosomeone who has committed suicide and asked them where they went? No? Well neither have i. My brother committed suicide 7 years ago an i hope to god he's in heaven he was a great man with a hard life. I'm not a follower of god but he doesn't deserve hell. Just had to say you cant go on saying that "you go to hell if you kill yourself" or "you go to heaven if you had good enough reasons" whatever the fuck that means. Unless you've talked to someone from the afterlife. Gawd xd
So i just dont understand why he would go to heaven if he wasn't there"
You obviously didnt listen to the song right. You wont always end up in hell it depends why and how you did it. There is never any logical reason to turn to suicide but this guy did. All oliver is trying to say is that he cares about his friend deeply and would do anything to get back what she wants most.
