Can you hear the silence?
Can you see the dark?
Can you fix the broken?
Can you feel, can you feel my heart?

(Can you feel my heart)

Can you help the hopeless?
Well, I'm begging on my knees
Can you save my bastard soul?
Will you wait for me?

I'm sorry brothers, so sorry lover
Forgive me father, I love you mother
Can you hear the silence?
Can you see the dark?
Can you fix the broken
?
Can you feel my heart?
Can you feel my heart?
(Can you feel my heart)

(Can you feel my heart)

I'm scared to get close and I hate being alone
I long for that feeling to not feel at all

The higher I get, the lower I'll sink
I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim
[X3]

(Can you feel my heart)

Can you hear the silence?
Can you see the dark?
Can you fix the broken?
Can you feel, can you feel my heart?

I believe that the whole album is about the salvation of his soul and all the mistakes he made.this may be refering to illuminati. this is a fact I thought about it when I started read the lyrics of their songs and I understood that they reffering to illuminati several times and also BMTH in album "sempiternal" tell us that hell follows if illuminati complete their goal but also hell follows illuminati when they judged by people/god (i don't know what if these two). The title of their album "There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret." is talking about Illuminati is hiding the fact that we are a spiritual being so "lets keep it a secret".
The Hell he is talking about is the controlled and manipulated world we live in, not to mention the music industry.

I believe this song is a plea for help, and an explanation of his feelings.

He begins the song asking the target if he/she can do impossible things like hear silence, see darkness, fix the broken, and then asks if the target of the song can "feel his heart"- understand his pain/ confusion, almost like a challenge, implying he might not believe the target can "feel his heart".

The next stanza is a plea, asking for salvation.
He asks the target if he can help the hopeless. The next line indirectly says that he is the hopeless in question, and he wants someone to help him through his pain, and salvation for his aloof "bastard soul".

Following, he issues several apologies and affirmations of love to people that would seemingly care about him, as if he'd wronged them or that he felt like he had disappointed them.

After repeating the chorus, the refrain further explains his issues- Confusion. He is scared of letting people get close to him, but he also hates the pain of feeling alone. He then states he longs for a feeling of "nothing at all"- He just wants it all the hurt be over with. He then states "The higher I get, the lower I'll sink"; Even though he may be doing better at times, his depression will worsen with it. The last line in the stanza finishes with the statement that he cannot defeat his demons, as they are always one step ahead of his attempts to get past them.

The song finishes with the chorus, one more time; He concludes with his plea and his challenge. Do you understand my pain "Can you feel my heart?"

It's saying that no one can really feel the same pain as him. In the beginning, he asks if you can "hear the silence" and "see the dark" which are both impossible. When he asks "can you feel my heart" it's showing that it's also impossible, just like hearing silence.

It's also a plea for help, asking for salvation. He has problems and it ask for saving. I think It's explaining his emotions and past. He is begging for redemption and saving because he himself is broken and unsure of what to do.

Near the end when it repeats 3 times, it's saying he is scared to trust anyone. I think it also has a self-harm meaning in there also. "I long for that feeling, to not feel at all. The higher I get, the lower I'll sink." When you harm, you can't feel anything, you're kind of numb, and you get this weird sensation. The more you feel the sensation, the deeper you go, feeling more and more numb. "I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim." It's saying he can never get rid of his problems because they will always keep coming up. His emotions are unbearable.

This song definitely describes Oli. He has had problems and I think it shows what he has gone through.

In the music video, there are bird-looking creatures who are the demons. It shows them hurting someone and tearing them apart and I think that is of significance. It's showing that your demons tear you apart until your body can't handle it and you die.

I may have interpreted it differently, but that's my views.
