Can you tell from the look in our eyes?
We're going nowhere
We live our lives like we're ready to die
We're going nowhere

Can you tell from the look in our eyes?
We're going nowhere
We live our lives like we're ready to die
We're going no where

I thought I'd buried you
And covered the tracks

You'll have to take this with your cold dead hands
I thought I'd buried you
Where sin can never die.

I thought I cut you loose
Severed the feeling
I stepped through the crack as you clamp to my shirt
I thought I'd buried you
Where sin can never die.

Can you tell from the look in our eyes,
We're going nowhere.
We live our life like we're ready to die,
We're going nowhere.

You can run but you'll never escape,
Over and over again
.
Will we ever see the end?
We're going no where
.

THIS IS SEMPITERNAL!

Will we ever see the end?
This is sempiternal
Over and over
Again and again

Rise from the dead you say,
Secrets don't sleep till they're took to the grave,
Signal the sirens,
Rally the troops,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It's the moment of truth.

Can you tell from the look in our eyes?
We're going nowhere.
We live our lives like we're ready to die,
We're going nowhere.

You can run but you'll never escape,
Over and over again.
Will we ever see the end?
We're going no where.
(X2)

THIS IS SEMPITERNAL!

Will we ever see the end?
This is sempiternal
Over and over
Again and again

Any one who claims music like this promotes sucide or anger obvioulsy doesnt suffer from either of those problems. I am a long time recovering drug addict with a lot of under lying mental probems and i can honestly say since ive started makeing changes in my life and my habits i have run into some demons i didnt even know i had (suicide, depression & anxiety) listening to "realism" of nearly all bmth lyrics makes my problems float away even if it is only for 3-5 mins at a time. I wont agree or disagree with john this isnt there greatest album but its still "real" as fuck and shits on any mainstream shit ive heard. I think everyone interprets each song diffrent depending on there circumstances but i for one "live for music" good bad or mediocre, music is my new "drug" and addiction, i couldnt be more happy that there isnt a rehab for this;)... "all music saved me" punk, pop, rock, grunge, rap, dance, ska, metal, hip hop... Peace guys & gals

OMG if you don't like it why are you bothering to listen to it! They are a great band that support many people these band members actually take their time to help and talk to their fans, unlike some of the top artists that barely spend two minutes with them. Many of the fans of this band can really connect to these lyrics through emotion it doesn't affect people negatively people don't do crazy things when they listen to it. A lot of people struggling to keep living in a world where they don't feel wanted or needed listen to this sort of music. They can relate to the song referring to demons because, that is what many people believe are pulling them down and stopping them from what they want to do, it is a word that describes many disorders or bullies. Also the way bring me the horizon perform their songs show so much effort as well as emotion that they put into it ,for example the way he moves around the stage when singing represents the true feeling he is putting into his songs. Many of the artists related to bring me the horizon have many painful experiences in their past which pushes them into helping others. The fan bases of such bands are so supportive because the so called 'violent' mosh pit helped a disabled boy nearer the stage so he could have the best experience. I'm not telling you to like them, or immediately start listening to them I'm just asking you to respect different genres of music because if you want to criticize people then you should at least try to understand them first.

I personally take this song as having a meaning like; staying forever young. Because if you look at the meaning of Sempiternal it means never changing. Staying the same forever; eternally. And in the beginning of the song the lyrics say "we live our lives like were ready to die, we're going no where". And at another point Sykes shouts "this is Sempiternal!" And if your looking at it the way i am and putting this all together this song is about living your life the way you want while your young. So to the ****** who said that bmth is a pointless band with meaningless songs needs to listen to them before judging their music. Because obviously they have meaning to their music other then just murdering stuff and drugs. I personally think bmth is a phenomenal band cause is actually listen to their music and think about what their saying.

Only two words. Gray Fox. If you don't know who he is, you can never understand the meaning of this song. Play metal gear solid and then listen the song. Another thing; in the final part of the song, you can hear the metal gear solid theme, "the best is yet to come". The two tings, metal gear and the song, are connected.

The lyrics are really troubling all the band talks about is demons and death and hell and stuff like tht. A lot of people get affected from listening to things like that even though most people don't believe it. A lot of people do crazy things when they listen to crazy music you'd be surprised of what kinda things happen.
