its about a guy that is trying find his place in this chicks life even though its rough hell do anything for her.. my boyfriend told me that im jane and hes burning the pages and looking the other way but hes still trying to find his place.. aww

I had heard that the songwriter's wife had died and when going through her things, he found her diary and read that she was in love with another man. Yet he still loved her and looked for his place in her diary.

I think this song is about a girl that he is in love with. However, this girl keeps to herself and doesn't want to let him in. No matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to get her to notice what he wants. He loves her but, also hates her for being who she is. However, he can't let go. So, he will go, day by day, just trying to get a chance at her love.
