Adele – Make You Feel My Love lyrics

When the rain
Is blowing in your face
And the whole world
Is on your case

I could offer you
A warm embrace
To make you feel my love

When the evening shadows
And the stars appear
And there is no one there
To dry your tears
I could hold you
For a million years

To make you feel my love

I know you
Haven't made
Your mind up yet

But I would never
Do you wrong
I've known it
From the moment
That we met
No doubt in my mind
Where you belong

I'd go hungry
I'd go black and blue and
I'd go crawling
Down the avenue
You Know there's nothing
That I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love

The storms are raging
On the rolling sea
And on the highway of regret
The winds of change
Are blowing wild and free

You ain't seen nothing
Like me yet

I could make you happy
Make your dreams come true
Nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends
Of the Earth for you
To make you feel my love, To make you feel my love

Love this cover of the song! When I first listened to it I couldn't tell whether it was meant to be a happy song of expressing love or a sad song about telling someone who doesn't love you, that you love them. I now believe that these lyrics are so well written and powerful that you can really make them any emotion you want. At the moment Adele's version suits my situation better but in years to come I could also use it as a love song. Beautiful lyrics and Adele has an amazing voice.

This song makes me think of my baby boy, its like a mother could say these words to her child. A mother who loves her child would do anything for them, warm embrace go hungry etc a mother would do these things but I only realised that's what the song meant to me when I held my newborn son. Although everyone interprets a song in there own way and I think it depends who your with or where you are in your life that influences this xx.

Love the lyrics so much. Every line speaks about love. An unconditional love. Either it's love for someone special to you or love for a friend. Love for someone special but it's just a one sided love. It's hurts but it's just showed how she/he loved the person he/she loves. It also shows the love for a friend that who is down and she/he always be there for him/her to support and help her/him. I'm so touched cause this song make me realized how love is precious. Whether it's for someone special to me or friends or even family. That I have to stand and fight for my love ones from the cruelty of reality.

I'm in love with one of my very good friends. I know that he has similar feelings for me, but yet neither of us know what the other is thinking. I'm certain he's doubting it a bit more than I am, and although we haven't talked about the thick tension that's creeping over us I know that this song is exactly how I feel. It's all the words I want to say to him. It's the want and need of someone, so much, and risking the idea of rejection just to show your vulnerability.
