This song, in my opinion, is about, I thought anyways, about a soldier who is trying to find meaning in the life that he has chosen. Being over in Iraq certainly does not show a vast selection of colors, or prosperity. He is crying out for help. To make some sort of sense in the reason why he has been left out, away from the world he has known.

the meaning of this song is about a man that have just realized his mistakes and he wants to bring back the life that he had yesterday. he wants to start a new life, he wants to bring back what he has before, he wants to right his wrongs no matter what is takes he never surrendered even no one will ever lift him up. thanks for reading.
