I'm sure I'm completely wrong on the meaning of this song, but I know what it means to me. To me this is like a sad love song, finally realizing that things are over, but thinking back on the good memories of the person they loved. Reminiscing about the past, how things between them seemed so right, they planned their future, and then how things fell apart to the point they no longer even recognized each other. Maybe they both changed, maybe they stopped communicating, maybe they fell out of love. Like I said, I'm probably wrong, but that is what it means to me. Very good song, very good memories. Thank you to the person who helped make these memories with me. It is better to have loved than to have never loved at all.

This is a great song, kind of describes my current situation. Except that even though I got my heart broken, I still love her and wish her the best. I am not yet over her, but trying to move on. Mistakes were made on both our parts, but I know I tried my best to make things right. Now I just have to find the strength to walk away and say goodbye.

I know every song can be interpretted in many different ways. This song to me for some reason comes across as sad. When I read the lyrics part of it makes me think of someone dying, or saying goodbye to someone you love. Regardless of what the real meaning is behind it, I love this song. It also has a very special meaning for me because it reminds me of my Ex and all we went through this past year. "I don't know if the change made was grave
