vengeance basically means punishment inflicted on someone for causing wrong doing, for those who are unfamiliar with the term. The entire song describes a battle of knowing whether to say or leave a relationship behind. XXX was promising to improve if she just stayed and this line solidifies that she left him anyway. Perhaps for not acknowledging her sooner and matching the effort the girl had given him, as previously described in the song. 'you cant ever say, vengeance never comes' She left him because he wasn't his all for her and he felt that was his wrong doing and her leaving is his punishment for not acting on it sooner.

This is in reference to the kite mentioned earlier which represents the happiness in the relationship. The girl had been the one who would fly the kite boosting X. He is making a promise in this line to reciprocate the love she is giving him and bringing her happiness for a change so 'we will never break'

The kite represents the good that was brought to the relationship. 'so you flew a kite' The girl in this song was flying the kite bringing brightness to X.
