I love this song and justin nozuka is so hot. But I think this song means that he wants to show this girl that with him she wont have to look any further for love. They can take eachother to the ends of the earth and beyond and do it all over again. Also this song sounds a little sexual if you're the kind of person to interprete things that way. But anyway I love this song!

I think this song is about wanting to live the life to the fullest and wanting a dream or ambition to believe in. And he doesn't know what he's waiting for, fear of being a nothing, nobody has taken over him and he's become it. The first verse is saying he's stranded around dull people and nothing is coming to save him. And the second verse is saying there's always something big happening but he keeps waiting, but what is he waiting for?

I think this song is about a girl who has someone(thus she says should she stay in her place) but she wants to go after her old lover, she has to tell him she loves him because telling other people isn't enough. So she builds herself up to do it but she realizes she's chasing a lost dream because it might lead nowhere, he might not want her back. So she asks herself should she keep chasing pavements or stay in her place with the one she's with. The music video also helps you understand it.

To understand this song I took it apart. The part about the future being architecture by idiots I could actually relate to today because it's like you have a bunch of famous people being idiots and setting a bad example for the future and so you should "lie low". But it also relates to the past when people in europe not thinking for themselves and being controlled by the catholic church. And the part about the banks becoming cathedrals is about how the church made tithes a tax that had to be paid. Also the fog becoming god is saying that the people were confused by the churches' demands but it was claimed to be the will of god so people believed it. Religion was the fuel of almost every fire and that's why it says the cross was held aloft.
