I have no idea how you guys came up with the meanings you did but my sons dad that is currently my ex. We are kind of trying to work things out after being separatedfor two years I even moved away. We are very stubborn so it isn't working out that great lol but I love him and he loves me. He wanted me to listen to this song. Its about two people going there separate ways. And hes confessing he still loves her. And states I don't hate you. And she states she doesn't hate him after everything that went wrong when they split, but wants him to do better than he is or hasdone in the past, but he pretty much states hes not going to change. They love each other but can't figure out how to make it work. They want to hold on to each other but can't figure out how to make it work. Its very sad and that's what me and my sons father are going through right now but I'm trying to keep my head up and hopefully everything will work out because I wouldnt want to be with anyone else.
