So he's telling her to just forget what happened when they fought cause it doesn't matter anymore because both of them miss each other and that they split up because of it and he's asking her if she could just give him some time they'll go have lunch down by the river and talk about what happened and try to work it out because they don't feel complete without each other. The reason why they feel like they both only have half a heart.

Something went wrong between them and they broke up or took a break. The girl's friends told him that she isn't doing well and that she misses him and sleeping in his sweater. He feels like his friends are telling her that he isn't doing much better and that he misses her just as much as she misses him and he starts explaining how it feels to be away from her because she completed him. That's why when he wakes up it feels like he's waking up to half a heart because she isn't there to complete his heart and he starts explaining how it feels in the rest of the song like it is directed to her enjoy this song its nice.
