This Cornerstone, this Solid Ground refers to the importance of Christ in ones life. With Christ as the cornerstone, your foundation in life is firm. With Christ as the Cornerstone of your life, you are like the wise man that builds his "house" on the Rock. This rock is Jesus and with Him you will weather the fiercest storm, and Him being the living water(See story of the Woman at the Well John 4-1-26 as He conversed with the "woman at the well) "You will remain firm through the fiercest drought and storm. "What heights of love, what depths of peace, "As Psalm 139 v 6 says "Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Verse 9-11 continues "If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Hallelujah. This Psalm 139 indeed must be the inspiration for this song.
