I think Miley Cyrus has every right in the world to change her style. She doesn't have to be the Disney's girl-next-door Hannah Montana all of her life. She's older now and she wants to be something different, so gosh, let her do it!
I think this song expresses really well how she wants to break free from the press and everybody trying to tame her down and make her something she's not. I personally think she's a good role model, even though she's not super-Disney-like anymore. Go Miley!

This song was written sort of as a response to Empire State of Mind which is all about New York and East side. Katy Perry wanted to create something for the West Side also cause she got tired of everyone in California partying and singing "New York!!".
Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg work together really well and this song is something that's just amazing, it's the Summer 2010 song for me.
