I have to agree with Lpluv on the thing with Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy sounding like Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco. I was playing a few songs for my guitar teacher the other day, and I played "London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines", and he asked if it was by Fall Out Boy. I actually never noticed until he mentioned it, but they do sound alike! Anyway. I think this song goes with "I Constantly Thank God For Estabon". Or something like that, I usually get that last word/name (?) wrong. Both of the songs seem to be talking about the music industry and how it's not so great as people would believe.

I love this song. I just started guitar lessons a few days ago, and this is going to be the first song I'm going to learn to play. Now, if only I had a decent singing voice. Xpp. This is my favorite Michael Jackson song. At least, one of them. There are too many awesome ones to just pick one. It's pretty simple to see the story to it. Diana is offering s** in exchange for someone to make her a star, and she ends up throwing herself at Michael. I cannot tell weather or not this is supposed to stand for something though. Possibly things/people in life trying to bring you down, for their own advancement? Not sure x[ I still love it. Rest in Peace Michael Jackson, King of Pop. I'm fifteen years old, and I'm a huge mj fan!

He wants a relationship to work ("I wanna run with you I don't care waht we do"), but the same things are happening as in another ("gotta get out of this place because it feels like yesterday"). He has to face his problems instead of ignoring them ("I think I'm running away I can't keep running away"), and he can't keep feeling like crap, and he shouldn't be taking all the blame for the failing relationship ("Can't keep feeling the same I can't keep taking the blame").

Wow, I was just watching this for the first time on YouTube, and the lyrics seemed to describe what I was going through when my last ex dumped me. Then I saw the date the video was uploaded was March 17th, 2009 and the guy broke up with me March 16th, 2009. So that was like fate or something. It fits really well. I'm really glad I found this band. I had thought Frank Iero was just the guitarist in it, but he's actually the singer/front man, which is why I checked them out, and they're awesome.

I think it's like someone talking to the Patient. Probably a doctor, but like one who knows him well. But it's talking to him either when he's on his death bed or actually dead, the second making more sence. Saying how he was a pretty bad person when he was alive (maybe paired with House Of Wolves, because it talks about how he was trying to figure out if he would go to heaven or hell, because he'd sinned, and he ends up thinking he's going to hell?). Because they say "did you get what you deserve?" like 'did karma come back to bite you? ' Maybe the "you never fell in love" part is saying how the Patient never fell in love, he just hurt those who loved him. And they're saying how like at his funeral no one really had anything nice to say because he wasn't a good man; they didn't like him all too much. But then maybe they miss him, because it says "wouldn't it be great if we were dead?" like they want to be dead so they can see him again. And "is that the most the both of you can give", might be his close ones yelling at the doctors for not being able to save him. That's my take on it. =] Awesome song though, and my favorite band ever.

Okay, so here's what I think:. The chorus makes me think that Derek is saying that it feels like everything is getting colder, maybe he's talking about the weather, but I think he's saying colder, like darker, more depressing. And "I'll have you know I'm scared to death, that everything you said to me was just a lie until you left" probably means he's thinking that everything that, most likely Katie, said to him, such as "I love you" or "you're the only one for me", was just a lie until she left him. And he's saying that everyone's listening just to see how he sounds, and probably not even getting the meaning of the song, which probably is him saying that no one understands what he's going through at that time. And he's expressing himself through a song, and the lyrics are basically describing his breakdown. That's what I think. This song is just *amazing* in every way, the beat, vocals, lyrics. Everything, amazing. Mayday Parade is just awesome.

This was the first Mayday Parade song I ever heard. Well, the first time I heard it, my friend was actually singing it. Hehehe. But I asked her what song it was, and I'd never heard of Mayday Parade, and now I'm like obsessed with them. That was like four months ago I think, hahaha. I really love this song though, it's one of my favorites by them. The end part is really great. I love the "How does he feel? How does he kiss? How does he taste while he's on your lips?" I [once again] agree with Oh-Shit_casey. You seem to know a lot about this band, I'm really glad you're posting on here -^.^- I think this song is saying how he thought they'd last for so long, because it's talking about waiting for the snow, and it doesn't snow much in Gorgia. And he thought that he'd spend all his life with this girl, and with the "month of apart", when he was on tour I think, he thought after that would be the perfect time to propose, but then he found out that his girlfriend of five years had cheated on him. It's really a sad song, but it's also really touching, especially for those who have been cheated on. I really love Derek's voice, it's so smooth and all around beautiful. He's one of my favorite singers without a doubt!

I agree with Oh-Shit_casey on it. I think it's also about how hard it was for Derek and Katie to break up though. I really love this song, it helped me when a girl cheated on me with her ex-boyfriend. We were friends before our relationship and still are, but it really hurt, because I had been the one to help her when she was broken up with by him, and I stopped her from hurting herself over it, then one day she said she was going to hang out alone one night, and someone told me she was with her ex, and then when I found out what they had been doing, this song just poped into my mind and then it was on constent replay for like two weeks. It really helped me through it.

I think it's about someone-- and since this is on The Black Parade album, I'm guessing it's The Patient-- who sinned at some point, and now that he know's he's going to die, he wants to be forgiven. And he's not sure if he will be, that's why it keeps going from "tell me I'm an angel" to "tell me I'm a bad man". But then near the end the angel part goes away and he's just saying he's a bad man, so he figures that he wont be forgiven and that he is doomed to hell.

Maybe it's supposed to be a children's story gone wrong. I don't really know a thing about the movie Watchman. But since there's like so many characters and everything, and My Chemical Romance is really into the horror scene, this could be like a kid story, only messed up to be more their style, like the characters all did something wrong. I don't really know, but the song is pretty cool. I suppose there could be many meanings for it if you really think.

In an interview Gerard said that he wrote this after watching teenagers on the bus or train, can't remember which. They were a lot more. What's the word? . I guess more trouble making then he was. And. Well. They scared the s*t out of him. That's all I know for fact. I think that Gerard also put in a bit of lyrics about adults trying to change us teens who aren't straight A cheerleader/football player I'll-stab-you-in-the-back students. The ones who get catagorized as "emos", even though I say there shouldn't be a lable.

I think it's about the narator of the song being mad at someone who they thought was like, there to help him, but never really helped. And so he's expressing anger by talking about how he wants to go to war with the person and rip them open inside out, for like betraying him. I could, of course, be completely off. You never know, and that's the real beauty of it all. My Chemical Romance uses all these metephors and such to get their message across. Their music is amazing, for a lack of a better word.

Ashnvfx seems pretty accurate. But I still want to get my thoughts out there. Keep in mind that these will probably be random and hard to keep up with. And most likely wrong. But I some how made the connection, and finding all sorts of meanings is what music is all about anyway, so here goes. I thought the "and dressed in red and blue I squeezed" lyric was supposed to maybe symbolize something horrible, like completely devestating to their relationship. And the effect of it on the relationship is so bad that it is comparable to gang violence, being red and blue are the colors to rival gangs. So maybe they became like enemies? That's how the line seemed to me. "I dragged her down I put her out And back there I left her where no one could see And lifeless cold into this well" That lyric is also something that made me think. "I dragged her down I put her out" made me think of how Gerard struggled with drugs and alcohol for a while. And I'm not sure if this song was even written around that time. But maybe he's talking about how she was dragged down with him. "As rice grains and roses fall at your feet Let's say goodbye, the hundredth time And then tomorrow we'll do it again" This line made me think of them planning a wedding. Then it's cancled, relationship over. But they end up getting back together. Made me think of an off and on relationship. Wow. I'm sorry to everyone who read that. But I make weird connections. And I happen to think that connections made to the lyrics, no matter how weird they are, plays a big part. I love this song though. My Chemical Romance is amazing. They really inspired me. And I am one of the people who was saved by them.

I think it's about them trying to figure out what they're supposed to do, the dirt sybolizing the earth, universe. And when it said "child, i'm coming home" to her it meant it was coming to like tell her what to do. And he's slipping through the cracks in the concrete because he doesn't know what he's supposed to do. I like the song, and the lyrics are interesting as well.

It sounds to me like he really liked this girl and everything, but he knew it wasn't love (i know it's not love 'cause), because she wasn't being herself, she was trying to be something else to please others (they are the ones who will hold you still). And he was trying to make her come out and just be herself (come on you can show yourself), and then he sees that she's found someone else who she can be herself with (now you've found love, it's shining through). No matter what it really means, I like the song, and I'd still view the meaning as this even if saosin said it was about something different.

I kinda agree with kaddykudda, at first it did sound a bit like a necrophilliac song. But after reading through the lyrics a few times, this is what I think. He's like singing about how she seemed so dull and lifeless until they met each other (to find you in the bedroom not breathing at all), and then she's sort of opening up to him and stuff (the wax it melts away). But then they get closer, you know, in their relationship, like fall in love and everything. But then they break up, and she goes back to seeming so lifeless again. And everywhere, it's easy to see that he did it to her, that he basically killed her inside (a gallery of your beauty). So he's trying to say that by making it sound like he actually killed her for real. And he's realizing that he misses her, and it's not the same without her(like the change in the pain it goes on for so long and oh now it hurts in the worst way now that your gone). And he feels bad, he wishes he'd stayed with her instead of giving up on it (i lost control). Well I don't even know anything about the band members' personal life or anything. I could be completely wrong, and this is just what I think it means.

It sounds to me like this guy fell in love with someone and everything was great and he was happy. But then things changed, she changed or he changed, or maybe they both changed. And he's not happy anymore. He misses the old her, which was everything he wanted. And it must hurt, and you know, that pain could be the price he was talking about. That's just how I see it, others might interpret it differently, and the writer may have meant it differently. But music is all about how you can relate to it and the meanings you and others find, as well as the original, I guess. Well, I'm blabbering now haha. Awesome song though, the red jumpsuit apparatus rocks.

Well, at first glance I guess people would say "This Song Is About Anorexic Boy Meeting Anorexic Girl", but I'm not too sure about that one. I think, anorexia is a symbol. Depriving oneself of what you need. So, I think a more appropriate theme would be "Self Destructive Boy Meets Self Destructive Girl". Nevertheless, nice song. I like the song Emily by them better though. And no, my name is not Emily. Hahaha.

I'm not really sure what it means. But here's what I think, for what it's worth. I think it's about a girl who the guy singing really likes, or was/is in love with. And the girl left him, or was some how taken away from him, so she haunts his dreams now, and he really misses her, It's Waking Up To Find You've Gone. And I think that she was self-destructive, She Goes Straight, Straight For The Deep End, probably engaging in very risky behavior-- like self harm, or massive drug abuse. And I think that he's singing about how she's, maybe, eager to cause herself misery/pain, Doesn't Hesitate To Dive Right In. But that's just what I think, I could be completely wrong. I love this song with a burning passion. Scary Kids Scaring Kids is a truely amazing band.

I think, that it's about him being in love a girl, who loves him. But for some reason they're being torn apart. And he's just drinking the pain away. I don't think it's about her dying, because it says "knowing that for someone you're an angel sent to save", so I think he's saying that she's gonna maybe save someone, or something like that. It just doesn't seem like she's dying to me. It seems like they're being torn apart against their wills. And he's just remembering all their times together, and drinking away the pain. Eh, that's just what I think. Either way, I love this song.

Well. I'm pretty sure about most of this song, what it means, that is. I'm not exactly positive, but I have a little bit of certainty on the matter. Like, "at least you fell to me" probably refers to, at least she didn't cheat. The lyrics "I wonder if you see them where you are" and "it's been too long since I've heard you sing" suggest a long-distance relationship. I believe that "and then I fell into pieces, and she fell into me" hints at being overjoyed at seeing each other, and they are immediately in the others' arms. But. I'm curious as to some things. Such as, I really don't understand what they mean by "but this is the wrong night, tell me goodnight and let it go" and also, the first and fourth paragraphs of the lyrics confuse me. If anyone would be so kind as to attempt explaining it to me, I would greatly appreciate it. :] Oh, and Mayday Parade rocks!

Its simply an amazing song. I know its basically about trying to help someone who wont accept it, and in the end hurting yourself, but. To me, it just seems a bit different, when I listen to the chorus. Its like you keep hurting yourself by giving your heart, and end up picking yourself back up and hiding it. And you're always hurt because you care too much. And you wish to forget the past. But you see the scars, and they remind you. Its all so real. But, I guess everyone relates differently.
