I think the song is about a girl who loves a guy that nobody wants her to be with. The girl has been in love before, but with him, something is different. And athough he is not good to her, or even good for her, she cannot stop how she feels and keeps bleeding love. The friends are only trying to protect her from herself as she is not capable of walking away.
