She has seen both sides, the one she wants forever, the one which she can't be with b/c of issues that began before she came along. And most importantly, when you find yourself in a situation like this, Cyrus's lyrics are spot on, You hate him because he made you love him, and you like also at the same time like him b/c he made her love him.
