He is telling us that even in the toughest of times, we will get better, "the fog will clear up". That even some people are gonna push you down, we are all equal, no one is better than another "we're all the same". And even when we think we have to stay strong, it's okay to break down, because sometimes we all just need a little bit of time to fall apart, "it all gets a little too much". He is telling us that we don't always have to act like nothing hurts.

He means, even when you break down, you push yourself onward. You don't give up. If you fall down, he knows you can get back up, and brush off the dirt. The second line means, even if someone, or something is pushing up back down, you don't give up. You have faith in yourself, even when no one else does. He's saying that even when things are tough, to keep trying, to not let them break you. Shawn is telling us not to give up on ourselves.
