Where I belong, with all erased
The individual realized that this is what they deserve. They may continually punish themselves in various ways. All erased means, all the people that were close in their lives are slowly fading away. Along with all the memories being erased. The only thing the person can recall is the feigning feeling from the drugs.

The new day, after the abuse, is filled with being swallowed up. Feelings of remorse, anguish, torture. Also reflection of your life, and how this individual has feelings of absolute failure. Brings sheer emotional dismay. The result is the feeling of being swallowed alive, drowning, uncomfortable in your own skin.
Just begging to be physically assaulted and bleed. As if the pain would take away the emotional emergency.

What follows the high of altering your mind? What happens after artificially stimulating your endorphin's? What happens after getting high?
The whitest lace of light could mean the sun rising. The morning after a night of "feeling really good", the sun starts to shine a bright light. That is when reality sets in and the user is realizing the flight is over and descent is upon them.
