This song is about a girl who can't understand why her ex is treating his new girl the same way that she was treated. She doesn't understand why he won't come back to her knowing that they would have the same relationship that they had earlier. I can definitly relate to this song. What makes the love of my life's new girl different from me. Plus I would treat him better than her and I would love him more than she ever could.

The meaning of this song is very simple. They both never forgot the love that they shared while they were together they never let go of the feeling between them. I can definitly relate to this song because the love of my life is with someone else, however, we both love each other very much. And to anyone who is in a similar situation. Never forget that person because you never know what can happen in the very near future.
