This comment box is not about what the song means to you it's about what the lyrics mean, although anyone that thinks "whatever crap you think it's about" is not the same as "what the song means to you" shouldn't be expected to understand this. Gaga struggles with something most of us raised Catholic do: do we make choices for things we really want or are we just reacting against what the Church pushes down our throats? The last verse sums it up nicely. She clearly understands what is virtue and what one should strive for but still clings to what she likes and is satisfying now but also recognizing that may be a "demon". Give Gaga credit. She is a complicated talent. This song is not anti-Catholic but anyone that thinks it has nothing to do with religion is an idiot.
