What the song mean to me is, she wants this man to love her as much as she loves him and feels about him. The love she has for him is to the point she feels part of her goes when hes gone. To her hes that part that's sent from heaven, part of her soul. But she has spent most her life wondering if he might ever feel the same way and its hard to just give up.

I understand what this song means: and I just love it. Its really a song of deep thoughts of loving someone. Give up or just keep on loving them. Even if it leads no where. "Thats what tha song means" The vidoe mean: After the accendent should they both give up and die or keep reliveing there love they share right there on that pavement even if its a life time. Leading No Where.
