Meaning
I think the least biased interpretation is that someone is feeling like they're going crazy, and they have a voice, albeit it being a real person or not, telling them its going to be okay. My interpretation is of a woman getting old, and possibly contracting Alzthiemer's Disease (apologies for not spelling that correctly), and finds comfort in talking to her dead husband

Meaning
Its really quite simple. The artist is expressing the amount of torture they're experiencing from being away from their love. They're desperate to have them with them, and are expressing how much them being away has effected their mind. The artist is saying its a blessing and a curse to think of them so much, but when it comes right down to it, they just miss them and want them there with them.
