This verse explains the unstable fight between the child's life and death. The monsters are his visual rendition of death after the bite occurred. His repeated nightmare caused by the coma as he continues to combat the urge his body and mind have of passing away. His strength fading each night as the monsters grow stronger over time.

These monsters are the characters of Five nights at Freddy's restaurant. The teeth for instance are the child's rendition of his final moments before the jaws of the animatronic crushed down on his frontal lobe (the bite of '87).
