I saw a special with the Manager of Queen who claims that when this was written, Freddie came to his home and was very excited to share these lyrics with him. At the time, Freddie was in love with the manager and wanted to be with him although the manager was straight. Also, the band was being paid very little by the management company. As Freddie read the first lines, he explained the song was about the manager whom he referred to as she. The Moet et Chandon was their contract which was being held in the cabinet they were sitting beside in the managers home. Let them eat cake was obviously a reference to the management company who was making tons of money being somewhat clueless about their plight in not providing for them properly. The next lines are possibly the struggle to get more money out of the management company or the want to be with the manager sexually which did not happen. The surviving band members did not know of the crush Freddie had on their straight manager but did not refute the story...
