In the fourth verse, although he gets some confidence because of her support, they both try to go out in sunlight but bleed again! (the metaphors of second verse applies but they are still distant)

In the second verse, he admits that he can feel her, and he has been frozen(sleeping) , and although a vampire, he wants to go out in sunlight but bleeds as he tries while she watches him.
The metaphor here is that he has been in sadness (frozen) and he wants to feel happiness (sunlight) but every time he tries, he ends up getting hurt (bleeding)
