I do truly love this song, it hits me everytime I listen to it I just stop and listen to it because its beautiful. I don't know whether they are singing about someone who died but I think since it has both of them in the filmclip and at one point they are touching I think its about love and loss. When two people loose each other and it literally is killing them to live with out each other it feels like they have no air. I know what this is like but it would be cliche if I talked about it. And I don't think they should get together, it seems that chris is in love with rihanna (although it hasn't even been confirmed that they are together) but if maybe people should listen to their umbrella remix? And if chris and rihanna are in love they should work as hard as they possibly can to keep it the same with anyone else who is reading this. Sorry if this sounds like I'm preaching! Hey I'm not g* or anything I'm just a normal teenage girl and I really love this song its catchy and mad as. I think its inspiring and pretty mad that Katy is not afraid to sing about something different but something that is happening you know? Like not everyone who kisses a chick is g* it just says in the song ' I kissed a girl just to try it' that's okay why not try it? If you like it fair enough if you don't that's okay too. Anyone who is preaching anf saying they don't hate homosexuals just their thoughts isn't that the same thing? Isn't the way people see things for themselves and their inner most thoughts define who they are and if this is true that's just like saying you hate them? Anyway just a thought mad as song! Love it! And I hope everyone (g*, or not or christian lol =P)does too.
