Oh my gosh guys. Its called a literary allusion. How is this anything different from an author saying something like "My friend blurted out that i broke the vase. It was like a kiss from judas, for now my mom was punishing me. I couldnt believe my friend's betrayal." if any of you have ever taken an english class in your life, youd know that this song is a metaphor. I happen to be a practicing catholic, and anyone who is offended by this needs to understand how brilliant this metaphor is and how good the lyrics are. Message? Not very good. But I have respect for the artist.
