William Mims I agree that it sounds offensive, and I don't use this term when referring to the special needs friends and family I have in my life, but the fact that it is the politically correct term, and therefor when its being used as a comparing insult such as saying. This song is retarded. Like this song is bad. Like being retarded.(the. Although offensive sounding yet still politically correct term for special needs or mentally disabled) is bad. It is being used in a way that at I, and apparently at least 8 other people also find offensive.

It's funny how worked up people get about music that they don't like. I happen to really love this song. You can't deny that its catchy, fun to dance and jump to. Fun to sing. And while the lyrics may not be super intellectual or deep who really cares? Isn't one of the many purposes of music to make people feel good, and have fun, and relax, or go crazy, or to just enjoy? And obviously everybody has different taste when it comes to. Just about everything. So it is kind of a waste of time and energy to be going online to visit lyric pages of songs you don't like to tell people that their music taste is stupid or wrong. If I didn't like this song I wouldn't be leaving stupid dramatic comments on it because I have nothing better to do with my time then insult peoples interests, but I do like this song and I think its important for the haters to know how wasted their insults and efforts are. :)
