Consider the phrase "looking at the world through 'rose-colored glasses'" and you'll start to understand the underlying concept of "the rose-colored life". See also Mexico city's "Zona Rosa" -- the "Pink Zone" where life is rich, easy, protected, and grand. For those of us who grew up in an elder age it's no such a leap. Just sayin'
