If you like or probably love someone, you should say so to avoid confusion for the both of you or maybe for the other person only. And also you shudn't be afraid to ask that particular person on what status the two of you are in. It's somehow inappropriate to act as if you are not feeling anything and you always think to "go with the flow". You shud bear in mind that you shud take risk in able to settle things.
