This song is about addiction and giving it up. If you've ever known someone with problems youd realise they're getting high or drunk to hide from there problems. What do all drugs have in common they make you not care. But users hurt themselves as well as everyone around them. They are also very difficult to quite it takes a strong and ready mind. To me this song is about kicking addiction.

Well whether its about her bf and her it olds a unique meaning for everyone. Like I think this song is about a love for life at its best and worst. Taking every precious moment and emotion positive or negative and making the most of it. Taking every life expierience and learn from it. Realising that faith amd fear decides a persons fate. Its about a connection with her deity.
