Run run lost boy, they say to me
Away from all of reality
Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free
Like I said before, when she's say run, run away, it could seem as though she's in a coma about to wake up but she doesn't want to so she continues to run away from the troubles and sleep because it's where she's happiest.

I am a lost boy from Neverland
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we're bored we play in the Woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
So, in the song, her voice changes to something a bit more livelier. Now that she's joined Peter Pan, she actually feels a purpose and she actually has fun with that she's doing. She likes the feel of danger, when running away from Captain Hook because it gives her a sense of actually feeling alive when she actually isn't. This could actually be used in two senses, she could be in a coma dreaming about freedom or she could be dreaming about the road to death and how free she actually feels walking on it because there's so much to explore.

Then one night, as I closed my eyes
I saw a shadow flying high
He came to me with the sweetest smile
Told me he wanted to talk for awhile
He said... Peter Pan that's what they call me
I promise that you'll never be lonely
And ever since that day
By closing her eyes, at first I thought maybe she started to imagine, but later into the song I think this means that she committed suicide because like everyone that commits suicide, they take this as a sort of freedom. So, Peter Pan, in a way was that freedom. So, he was pretty much the deal maker or breaker. At this point he was between life and death. If she went with Peter Pan, she could be "free" in a way and would go to Never Land to stay with Peter Pan and the rest of the Lost Boys. If she went back, she would probably wake up in a hospital or something.

There was a time when I was alone
No where to go and no place to call home
My only friend was the man in the moon
And even sometimes he would go away too
When she says, "There was time when I was alone, no where to go and no place to call home," she means that she used to feel really lonely. It's one of those feelings that no one understands you and that no matter what you'll always be alone. When she added the Man on the Moon, she is talking about maybe a friend--whether imaginary or real--that she used to feel a true connection to, but just like all friends, they couldn't be there for her all the time so she was alone again,
