My dad, my cuzin, && I have debated the meaning of this song since it came out! From the lyrics, I think its meaning is something lyk this:
from seeing how her mother && father turned out, she thought love wasnt real, lyk no one culd ever find real love, but she did. && even tho it didn't last, she duznt regret it, which made her realize even tho love duznt always last as long as ud lyk, its stil real.
