The song isn't about her killing herself or her dieing. The song Vegas is the follow up to this song about almost marrying Meg Frampton from Meg & Dia when he was seventeen. Alex said in an interview that Remembering Sunday and Vegas are about the same person. Meg isn't dead, and he said in another interview that 'I'm not coming back, I've done something so terrible' and 'I'm over you now I'm at home in the clouds' means she was in an airplane. She left him and won't come back.
