This song explains how Eminem felt during his relationship with Kim. As the song develops we see a change, we can see Eminem representing his anger and strength which he has built during the relationship which was a really rough time for him. He uses phrases like "you drained me" or "I may never trust someone" to imply to the listeners that the relationship was one of the hardest times in his life and that it will always be stuck in his mind, sort of like a death of a loved one. However he also says things like "You were Jekyll and Hyde" where he compares himself and Kim to a characters of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde which is about a person who has 2 sides, one of them obviously bad. Jekyll was living 2 lives, one as an intelligent doctor and one as Mr Hyde where he is an animalistic and inhuman-like person.
