Omg! I'm so sorry about your brother! I think this song is about how his brother commtted suicide, and he's thinking back on it trying to figure out what went wrong, what was going through his brother's mind, and so he started to get depressed, and he was just trying to get through it, along wiht his family. I cried the first time I heard it. I still tear up, occasionally.
