Actually if you guys watch the music video you'll get a better understand on what the song is talking about. The song is about how a teenage girl goes out with a boy that she thought she knew and her father was just coming home. Her father said to her "Where are you going?" The Girl leaves. Well The boy she was with was trying to rape her and she tries to call her father but she couldn't because the boy was trying to rape her. She sent her father a text stating a number I think the number was 55 or something like that and her knew where she was at. She was at a baseball field, so the father goes there and pulls the boy out and punches him. Originally the father was going to be played by Kevin Costner but he couldn't do it. This is about someone being there for you, or rescuing you from some outrageous accident like being rapped or something.
