People talk to me is meant as in people talking to Katniss Everdeen, trying to get her to obey them and believe what they are saying, but "all their faces blur" - this could either mean that her tears blur them out in her eyes, or she cannot focus due to all of the hatred and anger she has for what is happening to her.
The second part: "But I got my fingers locked together... etc." is showing that Katniss has not let herself become completely overcome by the sadness/hatred in her and is still fighting strong. It also shows that she is fighting for herself (I got my fingers laced together)
