This is a pop culture reference to Troy Sanchez, Minaj's ex - lover. Sanchez could of had it all, being married to the most talented singer of all time, Nicki Minaj. Instead, he broke up with her to play popular plumbing game - Mario. While plumbing, you can earn coins, the same coins Minaj was referencing. Minaj has not gotten over her second grade crush, Troy, and has thus written a song about/for him.

Taylor Swift has an obsession with popular root-plant Beets, and found out about it in early September. When interviewed about how the experience was, finding out about Taylor's OBD (Obsessive Beet Disorder) Andrea Swift, Taylor's Mom, said "Beets me...". Clearly the experience of finding out about her OBD has impacted not only herself, but her family and friends. So much so, that Taylor Swift wrote this song commemorating how she will never pass the opportunity of a beet.
