The army, is taking beautiful, innocent young men and women, taking them away to be killed. Killing their innocence- metphorically - and losing their lives- literally. I love these lyrics, I love his use of "school bus" I think that is a wonderful explanation for the recruitment of young people into the army. Morrissey, your not a man, your an artist, an enigma, an icon, a god and a wonder amongst us mere mortals. This might not be the intended song meaning, but its what it means to me Thankyou for giving. Louise Woollard, 16, Scotland.
