Personally I believe the song is referring to people who brag about Oxford University and show off everything thing they have. I think "coal" is representing money. I also believe that when they say "check your handbook it's no trick", it's saying that you don't need to go to a prestigious school like Oxford to get an education. I will also bring up that all of the members went to Oxford.
