"Mustakrakish", I'm sure what your friend was alluding to was the fact that while on the cross Jesus said the following:. "And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, 'Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?' which is translated, 'My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?' " (Mark 15: 34). And. "And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, 'Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.' Having said this, He breathed His last. " (Luke 23: 46). There is far more religion in some extremely popular songs by extremely popular bands than many realize, it's almost as though they're trying to save people from themselves without letting on what it is they're trying to do sometimes. I guess because it's far easier to get someone to unknowingly chant along to something catchy in reference to Christ than to get people to actually knowingly embrace his teachings.
