Nomad17 is correct on where A7x got the influence from the song from. Tho I don't believe that's what its all about simply what influenced it. I've never seen the movie or read the book so I couldn't honestly say, but thsi seems to be about how people try to make themselves better than they should be, but end up making themselves worse in the end. And then they want to go back but need help. Such as using steroids or other drugs.

A7x songs can have wahtever meaning you can fit them to. Tho I can't see A7x intending to make this song reffering to going on tour and saying goodbye to Las Vegas. Nor does it seem like it, I rather like the theory about how this is linked to drugs and it does match up with the lyrics. This is a tough song to interpret I simply like listening to it. About actual Heaven thems tho. A7x doesn't like to base entire songs off religion, only pieces. But who knows =)

To those reffering to the video found on YouTube. That is a fan-made video of this song and scenes from the movie Jarhead. A7x doesn't have a music video for this song. I'm not that's not what the movie is about, I tend to think you can interpret an A7x song anyway you like and try to amke it fit ur own life. I myself like to think this a love song and it is touching as it is a good song just to listen to.
