This song reminds me of something. You know what that is? Pleotins theory that we all have an angel watching over us to guide us in the right direction and make us as happy as we can be. Perhaps this angel is our significant other which goes back to Pleotins theiry that the more you love the happier you will be. Because if you are nice to people and treat everybody with love and care and understanding. Then we will all be happy. It may be a hippie kinda thing to say. But when you think about it makes sense. Though only one person in this world can love us unconditionally with affection and protection. It doesn; t mean that you can't love just to love. This song reminds me of that because even though its about one true love. Love is such a broad topic. Maybe if we were al in love with each other without having s** with all of them. We would all finally see the day the whole world smiled:-)

This song is very powerful and it truly inspires me not to ever let any guy treat me for any less than I am. I personally have always thought it was about a guy who is great friends with a girl and see's her relationship with her boyfriend is really mentally and physically abusive. She wants out but since she is weak she can not cinjure up the courage to do that because she truly believes she is in love with him. So the guy takes the insentive to talk to the guy who he is also good friends with. Hence th line heed my lecture. And anyways he's basically tellin him to stop or one day the girl is gonna have enough. And I agree with cutieran on the part about how she ignores the pain and agony shes facing. Its very sad and what really sad about it is this kinda s*t happens all the time and sometimes the victims never leave and the abuser either kills them or they killl themselves.
