Reflection of fear make shadow of nothing
Shadow of
The "Reflection of fear makes shadow of nothing" part, I also agree with that the other guy wrote in the lyrics explanation.
Now, I have to admit that I don't understand the 1st verse very much, but I know that It's also some advice's that complement the lyrics.

You say, dreams are dreams
When he says "You say dreams are dreams" until "Breach your soul to reach yourself before you gloom", it's like if he had talked to us at first and then tells us to come down a little, so we can "reach ourselves" and gloom. And at last, he wants to tell us that no matter what kind of dream we have, there's always some way of getting to it within our own expectations.

Don't try to live so wise
Don't cry 'cause you're so right
Don't dry with fakes or fears
'Cause you will hate yourself in the end
The chorus is the main advice I talked about before. On the first lines, he's trying to tell us to don't live according to what society judges right (Again, don't misunderstand.), don't cry whenever you feel like you're wrong only because others judged you to be; and the last line is quite obvious. If you only do things to look like you're OK for other people, you'll end up hating yourself.

My knee is still shaking, like I was twelve
The line "My knee is still shaking, like I was twelve" says that he's still just as anxious as when he was 12 years old. (Note that by "do things however you like to" he's just telling you to do things on your own pace, according to your own ideals, so don't go setting some random building on fire!)

Waiting is wasting, for people like me
When he says "waiting is wasting, for people like me", he tries to show us that he's already realized that he could do much better if he just did things however he'd like to, without having to wait.

Meaning
I'd say this song is an advice from the author, in which he uses himself as an example. He says that, as a child, he didn't really care about school, as he sometimes tried to get out of the classroom. The "waiting" he talks about in this situation is being at school while he could be doing something else, something that he really did care about.
