This song has a lot of meaning to me. To be honest, I've heard it a thousand times but, I cried every time. It's just hard to actually pay attention to the lyrics and not cry. This song just means so much. It hurts me to listen to this song. Honestly, it's just a really sad song.

This song means a lot to me. The story is that I was going through a tough time while in a residential treatment facility. I was listening to my mp3 player. Then, this song turned on. I started singing along. Right towards the middle of the song I started to tear up then, by the end of the song, I caught myself putting this song on repeat. So, I listened to this song one more time and right after the first verse, during the chorus I realized I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Then, it was time for me to do an activity. As I was sitting in the activity, I was basically bawling my eyes out. Every one that was in my group kept asking me if I was okay. I couldn't bring myself to say anything. All I could bring myself to do was to continue to keep crying. Until the person that I took as my big brother came over by me and said "Hey, lil sis was wrong." At the same time I was still listening to the song. So, then he grabbed my mp3 player and looked at the song that was playing. Then, he just sat there with me. He then gave me a hug and I just sat there wrapped in his arms and kept crying. I swear we sat there for about 3 1/2 hours. The staff just sat there and let it happen. But, it was the staff that we both liked and didn't care what me and my big brother did. So, the staff let us sit there and be in a hug and just let me cry.

So, the reason why this song is in the movie is because when Aladdin finally gets princess Jasmine to sneak out. He takes her to the city, where she's never been before. Which is why this song was made because when Aladdin and Jasmine are in the city, princess Jasmine feels like she's in a whole new world because she's never been over the wall of the palace. Also, Aladdin is in this song because he also feels like he is in a new world because Genie grants his wish of being royalty so, that he can get princess Jasmine to believe he is a prince so, that he can eventually convince the king to let him marry princess Jasmine. So, basically this song was written and put in the movie to express how both Aladdin and princess Jasmine feel together. That is the main meaning behind this song.

So, this song definitely has many meanings. But, it has a big meaning in my life. To be honest, it was one of my breakup songs. I was at school. We were in lunch and I asked one of my friends to get my boyfriend (at the time). Turns out he told her that he was breaking up with me. So, it really crushed me because he told a bunch of other people he was breaking up with me but, he didn't tell me. So, we went outside for recess and I to be honest was very mad. So, I went up to him to confront him. But, he kept walking away for me which upset me even more. So, finally I got a hold of him and asked him why he would go to a bunch of other people and tell them that he was breaking up with me. But, wouldn't tell me to my face. So, I asked him to tell me why he was breaking up with me. He then looked at the ground and said "You're not my type." Which the fact that he looked at the ground and told me upset me a lot more. So, he then finally looked me in the eyes and told me again. I then had study hall, and I listened to this song. I started to cry because I understood what Adele was feeling and I felt the same thing. So, to listen to someone sing about the way I felt kind of made me feel horrible because I didn't understand why he would ask me out then in 2 weeks tell me I wasn't his type. It confused me that he would say I wasn't his type but, he asked me out. So, that's the big meaning that this song has in my life.

So, to be honest this whole song has a big meaning in my life. This song actually was my recent breakup song. I had just went back to my old school to visit. But, when I got there it was like 2:30. The school secretary told me that I couldn't go in until after school. Thing was that was the only time I could go in because the rest of the day I was extremely busy. So, I get back in the car and started listening to the radio. Then, this song turned on. So, I was just sitting there listening to the song when out of nowhere I started crying. I didn't know why. Then, I got home. About 2-3 weeks later I called my best friend. My best friend told me that she didn't want to ruin my mood because I was in a good mood that day. She then told me that my girlfriend's parents didn't want her to be with me anymore. My heart at that time just dropped. I started tearing up. So, I told my friend I had to go. The one song I thought about was this exact song. So, I turned it on YouTube and turned it all the way up. I started to cry. That whole day all I listened to was this song. Ever since then I've been single because every time someone asks me out or I think about asking someone out my mind goes right to that memory and I think about this song. But, that's the big meaning that this song has on my life.

This song is about the positivity that the show "Alvin and the Chipmunks" will bring to you if you decide to watch it on a daily basis. I watch it on a daily basis and I am always extremely positive. When I watch this show I am so positive that I bring positivity to the people who are feeling so negative that they try to ruin everyone's day, and who try to make every feel miserable just like them. This song means so much to me. It means enough to me that when people see I feel negative, they come up to me and are like "Batman, if you listen to the Alvin and the Chipmunks theme song you might begin to feel a lot better than you feel now. Plus, it will put a smile on your face." So, basically what I'm saying is if you are always feeling negative or even if you never feel negative you definitely should listen to this song.
