So many alice in wonderland references! I'll point out a few of the more obvious ones if I have to c:. Falling down the rabbit hole, perhaps the most obvious. The cheshire cat (in reference the shoulders and smile lyrics, seeing as how that crazy cat has a propensity for vanishing partially from sight). All the possibilities- because everything is possible in wonderland. 'a man of many hats' is obviously a reference to the mad hatter, or else nate would mention 'trade' or something similar in its place. The size comparisons (remember the eat-me cakes?). Last, when everyone was doubting if alice is the real alice (the 'nobody knows my name' lyric). But that's just a few of them. I'm sure there are more that I missed ^-^ Either way, I just love fun. And panic! At the disco so much! Gotta love punctuation bands like these! Brendon urie and nate ruess are absolutely perfect together, and their voices complement each other unbelievably well. This is a perfect song that deserves to be on recognized more than any justin bieber or nicki minaj song does >: c

Not sure this is right or related, but about the title, there is a short story called 'the handsomest drowned man in the world' about a village that is changed for the better after they find a handsome man they dub 'esteban' who is found dead on the beach and they hold a funeral for him. Just thinking, as a band, they seem to be very well-versed in literature so it's certainly possible. Either way, I love this song. It's very catchy.
