TV Theme – Welcome Back Kotter lyrics

Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket out.
Welcome back to that same old place that you laughed about.
Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Back here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've got him on the spot,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Patiently waiting and wanting you! Wanting you to smile, just smile. Follow your heart, you have always known, know it's time for you to know, and Well, the moon and the stars for you, just you, it starts with just you. Welcome back, цe have missed you. Oh, don't ignore! All my love to you and good fortune on your new found journey. Remember, know yourself, know your worth, pure life.

I loved "Welcome Back Kotter" so much that I still watch it today at 40 years old. I remember being about 7 when I used to watch it with my mother and it was always one of my all time favorites. You would think every girl had the hots for Barbarino but mine was always Horshack. My message that I got from the show was no matter what your dream is always follow it and see where it goes cause you never know what could happen. I loved the show.
And still do today and all the cast that were in it and I always will. Thank you "Welcome Back Kotter" for being an inspiration in my life. Teresa Schrieber.
